    Great dash cam with questionable extra function...

    This is a great dash cam for integration with a Kenwood head unit. this is not a stand alone dash cam. all playback and file access can be done on the compatible headunit, and makes it easy to see what happened without having to take the micro sd out to a computer. aside from the dash cam function, on certain head units, you can enable several other functions, one being when you are stopped, it will beep if the vehicle in front of you have started to move but you have not.....great for you folks preoccupied with other things at stop lights. In additon, it has forward collision monitoring. it will detect when you are approaching another vehicle too quickly and beep to alert you. this function is not as good as it should be, but i dont know if that is because my hood is in the frame of ...

    The use of DRV-N520

    I have now been using DRV-N520 for about a week and it’s working but.......of the three driving security features there is non of them that is working perfect. The Lane function bips every time I change lane(if it got info from the indicator it world work). The drive by does not make any sense as it bips whenever you waits in a cross road and a car drives by as expected. The only function which make bit of sense is the you are near the front car. It does bip when a car has overtaken you and changes lane to the lane you are driving in. That is a bit irritating.

    Great camera for DNX-574S

    Easy hook up and pretty good results ....This camera used with a DNX 574S is very integrated , many functions that are really cool . You can watch camera while using GPS ....It automatically records video records of your travels. The thing that does not work for me is the collision avoidance system. It goes off for no apparent reason .
