Top of the line work horse.
A must have for electricians, and worth the extra over the 600. The T5-600 is for HVAC guys and maintenance types. If you ever work in an industrial or commercial setting or even upstream of the mains in residential, you need CAT IV equipment, and this thing is indestructible. This meter will take an absolute beating and keep on giving you reliable readings, keeping you safe. I wouldn't trust my life to anything less. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a delicate little electronics multimeter, but that's not what this is for. Get a Klein for that stuff. This is the easiest meter to use. No voltage ranges to set it to, AC or DC it tells you without having to change to different settings. Amps and ohms are the same, totally automatic, good up to a 1000 volts, great meter compact size, and a good value.
