Just switch it on and drop your cubes in the top chute. If your cubes are too big, they bridge and won't go in to be crushed but if you fill your ice trays to 2/3 height or used bagged cubes, this works great. Its quiet and has a counter footprint the size of a toaster. Does 6 trays of cubes in about 2 minutes.
