    My mom was scheduled for lower back surgery and we needed a walker that could support her entire weight

    Short version, if you can fork out the extra $$ this is an excellent walker for someone who needs to put their full weight on it and requires the walker to support them fully for their balance. Long version..... My mom is on the "thicker side" of the scale and she was scheduled to have lower back surgery to help with her sciatica pains. I needed to purchase a heavy duty walker that could support the full weight of my mom. I am 5'10" 200 lbs and my brother is 6'3" 270 lbs. We each did a set of "Bar Dips" holding onto only the handles of this walker. It did not sway, bend or tip backwards as we suspended ourselves in the air. My mom is in the nursing home right now recovering and doing her PT. This walker hasn't failed her in either of the three positions (walking, sitting for rest or ...
