Great little scanner!
There are probably units available today that allow you to have 9,000,000 channels, but I don't need a scanner with that type of capability! This unit has an amazing ability to pick up my fire department and surrounding departments with clarity. The batteries only last 3 to 4 hours, so I just carry an extra set. I like the way the units can be programmed from other scanners! It's a real time saver, but it would be nice if the programming itself could be a bit simpler! Big Bang for the Buck!
This is my fourth scanner. I now can pick up everything and the reception is better than all the others with the stock antenna.
