    the seller canceled the sale when he realized that the item could be worth more. He wrote to me that he canceled and eBay charged him 4 dollars, then listed the item 5 times more expensive! I wanted to pay him more, I wrote, but he is focused on the highest possible profit, not honesty. I do not recommend contacting this seller. Be honest and you will be ripped off, that's my impression.

    This person is totally dishonest and is lying. I have the communication text if anyone wants to see it. My item was US shipping only. This person is in Poland. He said he did not see US shipping only and said I could cancel the order. I cancelled the order and relisted it. It is a $10 item. Then he left the negative feedback you see. I contacted him and told him to remove the feedback or I will report him to Ebay. He did not remove it and I did report him to Ebay. Stay clear if this guy.

    great little 802.11n router

    If you don't require the 5GHz band and could get by with the 2.4GHz band this an excellent router at a great value IMO. You could upgrade to TL-WR1043NDv2 (version 2, Black cased router) for a few dollars more with the 5GHz band but I prefer this one. I re-flashed the router with dd-wrt so we have more options than the factory firmware provides. So to conclude if you only require the 2.4 band this is a nice value. It has excellent wireless range and low power consumption but YMMV

    Recommended for price and value...

    This is a factory refurbished item and as such, produces excellent quality and value at a reasonable price. It seems to be in like new condition works extremely well for me. I actually bought two and decided to convert one of them into a repeater by replacing the stock firmware with DD-WRT. It was a bit of a chore to get it working correctly as a repeater, but with that job accomplished successfully, it works very well. I have converted several other routers to repeaters in the same manner and all were successful. The TL-1043ND v1 was the most difficult to get working. Since the factory is still selling refurbished units, it would be helpful if they would offer a working method to accomplish the task.

    Superb liberated hardware

    This product runs libreCMC very well, but in order to flash it, you have to change the filename to WR1043v5_tp_recovery.bin and set your IP to 192.168.0.66. It never craps out due to the LuCI interface, and it can handle a busy network with about 200 devices. It doesn't have dual band though, but it can handle hundreds of Mbit/s. It's load average stays under 2 even when viewing graphs.

    I bought this router to use it as an access point it look new and perform well this is the second refurbish TP-Link brand Router that I've purchased from New Egg at a great price and they perform very well, love these routers they have very strong and stable WI-Fi they look great too, also not to forget fast and free shipping too.
