About this product

Product Information

Eschewing the whimsical, cartoon-like design found in 2003's The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, the GameCube development team behind Nintendo's flagship fantasy series has opted for a mature approach toward the storyline and characters for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Players once again control the elfin Link as he fights to save Hyrule from a shadowy new threat, one that has cast a crippling darkness over the once vibrant land and its surrounding areas. Link has a few new powers up his tunic's sleeve, however, as he can transform into a wolf with the help of a mysterious animal friend named Midna.

Familiar elements from previous Zelda games have made the transition to Twilight Princess as well. Link will be able to slash at his enemies with a sword, fling a boomerang, block attacks with a shield, and fire arrows with a bow. Link can continue battles while on his trusted steed, Epona, running at full gallop into packs of mounted enemies such as goblins. Players must explore new puzzle-filled dungeons that culminate in epic boss fights as they figure out a way to return Hyrule to its pastoral state. Twilight Princess also offers a mix of optional mini-games, including canoeing, herding, fishing, and several other surprises.

    Phenomenal game

Fantastic game! One I've wanted for a while and am happy I picked up. It is a bit difficult going back to older Zelda titles after playing things like BotW and TotK, but it's nothing you can't get used to on an older console. I'm enjoying my time with it and find the story and characters to be wonderful. (I am biased however, I really just love all Zelda games.) The biggest annoyance I have is aiming, but that's mainly because I'm used to the newer Zeldas. Again, it's nothing you can't get used to. The graphics are clearly older, but not bad looking in the slightest. And I find the game itself to be fun enough that I don't really notice the older look unless I compare it to screenshots from the HD remake. I think, overall, the game is great. If you're a fan of Zelda, you will enjoy the game regardless of its age.

  • One of the most compelling Zelda Titles.

This Zelda game is a must own. If you’re a fan of the older N64 games, this plays just like them. The controls in the game are easy and friendly to use. Compared to other Zelda titles, this one has been the most enjoyable to play. Even with the new Breath of the Wild, this game has a charm to it. It has actual dungeons and characters that feel more alive. There is a bit of repetitive gameplay, designed to make you come and go through same areas twice or more. If you can get this game, it’s worth it. GameCube or wii, this game is fun.

  • The Overlooked Gem of the Zelda Franchise

This game with it's flaws is an amazing piece of work! While the graphics of the GameCube don't quite suit the gameplay... The controls are unmatched by the excellent ergonomics of the GameCube controller! You will easy spend 70+ hours playing this Cinematic, Emotional, entry to the beloved Legend of Zelda franchise! This game will keep you entertained. While some prefer the classic, Ocarina of Time; Twilight Princess is truly an overlooked gem and is quite possibly the best 3D Zelda game to date!

  • Great game great price

One of the best Zelda games overall. Great price and item arrived in great shape. My children starting playing when it arrived and are still working through it, loving every minute (except for difficult challenges which take a lot of practice to complete). If you own a GameCube, this is worth the investment, and Zelda fans will not be disappointed in any way. Children think it is way better than Ocarina of Time in terms of graphics and gameplay.

  • Best Zelda game EVER !

This game is challenging, breathtaking, and it is like you enter a whole other world when you play. As you ride to save Hyrule, it is like it is your home too. Graphics are advanced for the time. The story is very unforgettable and compelling. The hero and the characters are endearing, and heartwarming. The monsters are detestable and worthy opponents. I would recommend this game highly.

  • My favorite Zelda

Breath of the Wild may be the best Zelda, but Twilight Princess is in my opinion the best "classic" version. The GameCube version is best because of no motion controls. I was asked by eBay, "Is it a good value?" and to that I say "no". This game is very expensive because of scarcity and age. Is it worth it though? That's subjective. I thought so, and that's why I bought it.

  • Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

My 23 year old granddaughter has played this non stop, when not at work. She and her boyfriend love this game. As gamers, I would have heard, if they didn't think it was up to snuff..

  • Fantastic, but Criminally Expensive 🤔

It's a Fantasic Zelda Game, but being Unfairly Priced even for an incomplete copy. And especially for a single disc or manual. I'd opt for the Wii version for a more reasonable Complete copy, you know if thats your thing. Or try your luck with Auctioning. Overall, This Game is worth a purchase ☺

  • One of the best games ever made.

Amazing game, one of the best ever made. If you are questioning buying this game then no longer should you. The story is absolutely perfect, the gameplay is smooth, and the soundtrack is beautiful.
