Updated retro graphics & play.
If you loved original Mario you’ll love this. The play is more like original but current as well. Great for teaching younger kids to play with the easiest character setting where only falling makes them die. Great game for 80s players, today’s gamers & all kids. We all love this!

It's okay
This is a remastered edition of the Wii u game of the same name and additional level of mastery. Game was too simple and the final boss Bowser was leagues easier to beat (first try!) than even the Bowser of the original Wii version in the mid 2000's. Graphics are amazing but the game was short, not challenging and it's not one we kept after completion. Overall it's a good one time play through. Not on par with what we expect of Super Mario Bros.

Love this game!
Had this game on the DS when I was younger. Playing on the switch is so much fun. You can play with up to four people, it’s so much fun although sometimes it’s super hard! Got it brand new(:

Mario is still a great game for kids
My daughter is 5yrs old and she is obsessed with Mario. She watched YouTubers playing Mario Bros, so Santa brought the Switch and Mario Bros U. She just loves playing it with her older brother.

Good game in general, not so good rerelease
Generally speaking, you know what you're getting. I do appreciate the inclusion of Super Luigi U, which is a "second quest" of all new (albeit shorter) levels. My only complaints are some poor control revision decisions (pressing jump mid-jump alters your fall, making it difficult to jump in quick succession accurately), and the price tag for a game that came out eight years ago.

An Updated Classic!
Its Mario Bros has you remeber it with a fresh new look and updated gameplay! Its starts easy but can turn real hard if you are a completionist. Great for all ages and fun multiplayer that can turn real messy if there are more than 2 playing!

Great game!
I currently own the digital version but I ordered a physical copy since it was a gift for my friend. I owned this game on the Wii U, and this game is fantastic. If you like 2D mario games and own a switch, this is perfect for you. If you like mario odyssey, you might like this game too. Although this is basically just a ported version of the Wii U game, there are new characters to play with, and you can play two player co-op right out of the box using the joycons. This game supports the pro controller, joycons with and without the grip, and also in handheld mode. This also comes with New Super Luigi U for free out of the box, which wasn’t included for free with some Wii U copies. Overall, this game is worth it, and I highly recommend it.
