Much improved over the original
If you were to play the first game and the new one back to back, you would be set aback at how different they are. Injustice 2 fixes most if not all of the problems with the original. The gameplay is very responsive and streamlined such that anyone can pick up the game and learn to play a fighter. The combo system is set as a dial a combo, meaning that if you had trouble doing combos in guilty gear, street fighter, or king of fighters, you won't have to worry as much as you can input the commands for the combo and they will play out for you. The graphics for the new game are vastly improved as the original was bland and darker color palettes were used. The new game has very realistic facial models, realistic body proportions, even for women which Netherrealms has always struggled with. The best improvment though are the colors, which are varied, with many warms and brights. Much like Netherealms recent track recor has shown, even if you aren't a fan of multiplayer, the story mode for this game is pretty great, it's at 3-4 hours with replayability, and there's even a story mode for every character in the form of multiverses, which reward players with new gear for every character. Lastly the gear system in this game allows you to customize all the outfits and even the special attacks of all the characters in the games. The premium gear sets even change the character themselves, mostly visual. An example of this is a premium outfit for the flash is reverse flash, and even the voice actor was changed for the outfit. All in all, if you are a DC fan, or a fighting game fan, do yourself a favor and get this game. I do recommend the Ultimate edition as well as the value is certainly there, they put a lot of love into the DLC characters, even characters like Sub-Zero that might feel like a lazy pull, he plays great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is by far the most played game in my house, I have two girls (20) and (11) and they both love it and will play by themselves for hours on end. The game play fits all generations, I'm (51).
