Not good for old eyes at close distance.

I put this on a 22lr. I don't know if it is my old eyes, bad eyes or what, however, I could not get the cross hairs and the target in focus at the same time at 25 yards, it was one or the other. It was not so bad that I could not shoot and hold groups, more annoying than anything else. Because I have not shot it beyond 50 yards I cannot comment on longer distances. The parallax is set from the factory at 100 yards so longer distances will likely solve my problem. I have ordered an parallax adjustable 2-8x32 Vortex that I am hoping to solve my problem. I really have no legit complaints, I bought a scope hoping to solve 2 problems with one scope, it did not work for me. I also bought a 3-9x40 vortex for a 22 WMR with the same out come. These issues are all my poor choice in choosing the wrong scope for the wrong purpose. I have a 4-16x44 Viper Vortex that is absolutely fantastic, I wish I would have bought 5 of them when they were on sale. I will keep all the Vortex scopes I have purchased as they are quality scopes at a good price, I will just use them in applications suited for their design.

Dissappointed, Can't zero with moa weapon and SMK's

My second vortex scope, and I'm not satisfied with the 2-7 crossfire. I have a 6-24 crossfire on a 22-250 that works beautifully for bench shooting, but this 2-7 scope mounted on a 5.56 ar could NOT zero. I expended 100 rounds of 77 gr. sierra match king and could only achieve about a 2.5 inch group at 50 meters (5 MOA!) from a weapon with the same different scope printed .75 MOA. Tries nosler 77 grain match and hornady 75 ELD's, results worse. Popped my nikon 1.5-4.5 on and groups shrunk back to MOA / sub MOA. Issues with focus through the magnification range, mild ghosting through some of the range, and HORRIBLE at 24x. The eye relief "box" for this scope is very unforgiving as well. 3 shooters couldn't use this glass without constantly refocusing. Not able to bring weapon up and quickly sight in. Unsatisfactory for ar 5.56 carbine. I read a lot of similar reviews about this product, and I've already contacted vortex, we'll see how their VIP warranty holds up.

  • Excellent value for the money no regrets

I purchased this for a 6.5 creedmoor made by savage. However this had a heavy barrel so I decided to buy a second 6.5 with a standard weight barrel and this scope landed on this rifle also made by savage. The glass is clear and crisp. The resetting the dials back to zero feature is nice. 2x7 power is very appropriate for most shooters and hunting rifles at practical ranges of 0 to 250. I am 2. 75 inches high at 100 and zero at just about 200 and a few inches low at 250 for practical deer shooting it is a nice optic for the price. The construction is very good the turrets are positive with clicks you can feel however they are just slightly spongy feeling. I have some higher priced scopes on other rifles and in comparison I feel I got a great value for what was spent. If you want a scope to do what it is supposed to do and see you target on the same focal plane as your target you have a clear and consice picture. You will not go wrong for a 250 yard sighted deer scope. K russow. Noble oklahoma

  • Another awesome Vortex

This, as well as all Vortex products, is an excellent scope. Like most Vortex optics it cannot be beat by anything else in its price range. Very clear glass edge to edge all the way through it's magnification range. Excellent eye relief, even at 18×. Parallax is adjustable all the way down to 10 yards which is awesome. I own about 2 dozen Vortex scopes, but this is my first with the V-Brite reticle. The dot is very sharp and is perfect size for anything from hunting to benchrest shooting. I own several scopes from some of the other well know brands, and I only buy quality optics. Don't let the low price fool you, this scope is as good as some of the scopes I paid around $1,000 for. That combined with Vortex lifetime VIP warranty and it is a winner. I would highly recommend this and any other Vortex optic.

  • Awesome value

This scope is amazing, clear, accurate, and rugged, first day out to range mounted to my 300 wm, I was hitting 6 inch steel at 220 yards consecutively, I know this part is unbelievable but I didn't really even need to zero it!! Literally the only adjustment made was to windage 1inch left, I mounted the scope, it was not priviously adjusted by a gunsmith. So needless to say I am very pleased and impressed with my Vortex scope, I will purchase another Vortex in the future.

  • Nice addition

This scope makes a nice addition to my S&W M&P 15-22. I already had the regular Crossfire 2-7x32 on my 7.62x39 AR15 so now they match. This scope has a very clear picture at all magnifications. The multi-coated optics makes it possible to see your target even in very dim light. I have a flashlight attached to my 15-22 and at night I can clearly see my spinner targets 65 yards away.

  • The perfect smaller profile scope

Not every rifle requires a huge, heavy, boat anchor scope. This smaller scope has the capability to meet most hunting requirements w/o adding weight and bulk. Plenty of precision for 350-400 yard shots on game. Remarkable clarity for cost. Light gathering that's comparable to much larger objective 'other brand' scopes.

  • Remarkable Price Point!

I bought the Vortex Crossfire II to put on my tactically outfitted AK-47. What a sweet treat! The clarity is exceptional for the price. It is as tough as the rifle it rests upon. Truthfully, It tipped over a couple of times when I was mounting it. I was concerned because I have damaged crosshairs of lesser quality scopes by my carelessness before. No problems here. I have yet to dial it in properly but my first impressions are that this little scope exceeds my expectations! How could one go wrong with the warranty this manufacturer offers? That alone is worth every penny. I shopped around before I invested and I am sure glad that I did. I happened across a deal that was at least forty five dollars less than the going price. It sure looks good on the rifle, too. The fit and finish is superior as well. Do yourself a favor and try one!

  • Vortex Crossfire II 2-7X32 scope

Wanted to upgrade my scope on my AR10 from a 1-4X24 to something with more magnification. I already owned a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12X42 which is on my bolt action Mossberg MVP Predator. For the money you cannot beat this scope, crystal clear and highly accurate. Works great art 200 yards. Highly recommend if you don't want to break the bank and are looking for a nice scope.

  • Not bad

I'm turning my AR into a medium distant shooter with a rifle length barrel. Bought this to see quality of Vortex glass, and was not disappointed. It is very clear and the everything works well. I've yet to mount it yet. Currently on a new build and budget so, I'll revise once I use.
