      suggested by a friend to replace a much much more expensive treatment

      our older dog was prescribed "optimmune" coming in at over 80 bucks a month...merik rip off in our opinion...didn't want to push that "behavior" along so this seems to be a better way...to bad BIG drug companies have to ransom an old dog's health to sell their concoctions 4oz tub lasts three weeks sometime less and is in the 67.00 range rip off in our opinion!!....this stuff is a much better price and we don't use it as often!

      It was a struggle to use....

      Verdict is still out, as it's been a fight to get it in my dogs eyes..... I almost wish it were more of a eye drop with a more liquid consistency, as it seems like it could be done faster. Drops seem easier to measure.... The lube is more gel like which I understand is to probably coat ,refresh and maybe stay longer on the eye, but if you squeeze too hard you get a big blob and waste the product. Not enough and it doesn't come out enough..... It's hard to use on a 80lb wiggly dog, that doesn't want something put in his eye. The product was recommended by our vet for little eye boggers that could be caused from seasonal allergies? It might work, but I can't get the gel in consistently, even with my husband helping to keep his head still, more has ended up on his nose and face : (

      dry eye treatment

      Seems like a great product. I'm using it in my dog that was diagnosed with KCS (dry eye). He did not respond at all to any of the expensive prescription drugs designed to stimulate tear production. Nice , less expensive product to keep my dog and his eye comfortable since KCS is a very painful condition to have to live with.

      A great hydration tool for my dogs eyes.

      I started using this product five years ago when my dog started exhibiting dry. Veterinary ophthalmologist had recommended it, and it instantly improve the look and feel of the eye, and I can tell that my dog is more comfortable because of it. There is another version made with the green packaging, but I’m not quite sure what the difference is perhaps it’s the strength of the lubricant. I can’t speak to that, but I do know this is a very good product. It doesn’t have any odor, and it goes on easily and smoothly.

      Maintains moisture in dry eye

      My little senior doggie has one eye that is very dry. I have tried different drops and gels and still battled keeping her eye moisturized all day. This works better than any I have tried, including the original formula and I usually place drops in her eye two to three time per day. This is a nice size to have. Great product!
