The Deluxe edition of this Wii system comes in a stylish black color. This color has a beautiful shine that repels fingerprints and smudges. Released in 2012, the Wii U is the sixth home console by the company. One of the distinguishing features of the Wii U is its controller, the Wii U GamePad. Wii U Gamepad Required, Wii Remotes not sufficient
While this may be obvious to some, you have to have a Wii U Gamepad (nearly as expensive as the console) in order to configure, setup and use the Wii U or get to the point of being able to play Wii games. Following that, you can use Wii remote controllers when playing Wii games but to get to the standard Wii environment you have to use the Wii U Gamepad. So be aware if you are trying to replace a Wii Console with Wii U Console, you will also need a Wii U gamepad and the power supply is also different.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

A wonderful little underrated jewel
First, I'm reviewing this on the fact that this console is SEVERELY UNDERRATED! It's Nintendo's own fault this magnificent machine ended up the way it did. The graphics are good, the sound design is a real treat; music, sound effects and even menu sounds play just so deliciously good, and even with current technology (sound bars, surround systems, 4K TVs, it all works so amazingly good, it's baffling! Oh, and if you happen to have a micro SD you were using on Switch, and you happen to have an USB stick that can be used as a port for it, you can plug it into your Wii U, and you have a great external storage choice. I'm currently using the 400GB microSDXC UHS-I, and it's working perfectly. Honestly, I am appalled at myself for selling my original Wii U console to get me a Switch, HOWEVER, I am not regretting getting the Switch at all. Now, like with everything, there are some bad things I have to point out. The Wii U starts up SUPER slowly, especially after you've downloaded a few games (and even more if you download them to the main console's memory), and the console AND GamePad themselves are so huge, they take up quite a lot of space. Sadly I no longer have the Wii U stand to place it vertically. And that brings me to the console I bought... Sadly, the LED lights don't work, so I'm not sure when it's on Spot Pass mode, or when there's a disk inside, or when it's on, or on standby, the GamePad has trouble detecting touch around one of the indentations it has on it, BUT let it be VERY CLEAR it all works as intended except for that part on the touch screen. Will need to have that fixed... Either way, don't pass up on the opportunity to get this console! Especially before the eShop closes!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Happy with purchase, get one while you can.
Console came in good condition with only light scratches on the main console, but that's to be expected with the glossy finish that it has. I have had no problems getting my Wii and Wii U games to work, but the Wii remote doesn't seem to work as smoothly on the Wii U for some reason. I've tried swapping out the sensor bar but I am still having issues with the cursor jumping around on screen, so I'll stick to playing my Wii games on the main system since the controller responds much more smoothly on it. Wii U it's and underestimate game Console.
Awesome system, versatile, The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild looks impressive. Tones of Wii games (Nintendo’s best-selling non-portable console to date) and also compatible game controllers. This console feature Nintendo's first system to support 1080p and it can be played without a TV, write in the handheld control. It's still selling pretty well on eBay. Amazing!!!
The Wii U is a fascinating piece of equipment! I love how with the touch of one button I can go from playing on the big screen to playing on the Wii U game pad! Unfortunately the Wii U didn't get the third party support it was promised and that was its downfall but even then he Wii U has a great selection of games that are fun and over all entertaining! I'm glad I purchased mine since they are no longer in production from Nintendo. The way I see it this thing is the earlier testing phase of the Nintendo Switch! Nintendo Wii U Deluxe 32GB Black Handheld System
Just received system but experience so far is positive. Everything was easy to configure, tried out the Nintendoland app and downloaded a couple of apps from the e-shop. Internet browser access was simple, YouTube worked well. I purchased mainly for the new Zelda but now going to download all of the earlier versions. portable and verstile
The wii u is really dope. I enjoy the fact that to play some games you don't even need to use your TV and can share with your siblings if you want to. you can watch YouTube on the pad Netflix ect. The wii u has a great community that you can just talk to or ask for help or what games you should buy you can even see games others were playing and not only that it has really dope exclusives like xenoblade chronicles x pokken tournament ect so that means to get some of the greatest gaming experiences are only on the wii u. Its backwards compatible so you can still play and buy old wii games it also has a virtual console so you can take it far back to play gamecube games snes games. The wii u is very enjoyable and has many feature that you have to try even small on like turning your controller into a TV remote. I was really not expecting it
When we bought it, all of us were really excited to get the Wii U with all the games. The package itself came late by 6 days but Dandlegamer is not to blame because of the virus around. The package came and we opened it to a very nicely organized box. The Wii U had microscopic scraches which you could only see in bright light. And both controllers were fantastic. 0 scratches. Then we chencked the game discs. It was sad that we did not get the original packaging for Super Mario Bros U but man, the discs were literly brand new. All if them had absolutely no scratches.
