    Not as strong as original

    I use this each day and this one I just purchased does not seem as strong as the original I purchase at my local retail store. When I wear the original my wife always says wow that is a very strong smell, did you put too much on? But with this new one I just purchased she says she can only smell it if she gets up very close to me. I have also noticed that the scent does not last as long each day.

    Instant Classic

    Actually, this Armani Code is now my favorite everyday cologne. It's perfect, not too strong or pungent; intriguing. Unique but not unfamiliar. It also lasts all day, and doesn't leave behind that synthetic, chemical smell like so many others when they fade after a few hours. I had sampled it once at the store and passed, but I didn't give it a chance. The initial nose is somewhat ordinary, but the drydown is the true essence. I can't say precisely what it smells like, my sense of smell isn't that well trained, but also it isn't quite like anything else. It just smells good, and it's the kind of smell that you want to smell again after the first whiff. Just give it 15 or 20 minutes to shift. Definitely well worth the price I paid!
