About this product

Product Information

Based on the popular anime Yu-Gi-Oh, Dungeon Dice Monsters is a turn-based board game that involves rolling three dice and selecting different monsters from a deck of cards. As the game progresses, players can position their monsters on an isometric battlefield, where they will eventually engage their rival's opposing forces. After selecting a set of cards to use in battle, players take turns rolling the dice until they reach the specific point total needed to purchase the cards.

Once the number has been reached, players enter a strategy phase where they transform each card into a monster, position it on a grid, and then move it a specific number of spaces until it reaches a rival monster. A battle will then commence between the monsters, with the results dependent on each particular creature's strengths and weaknesses. Over 100 different monsters are included in the game, and players have the option to compete against the computer or a friend.

  • bad game but fun time picking apart everything wrong with it

Objectively the worst video game I've ever played but I bought it knowing this, a real interesting time capsule of the Yugioh Series at the time, with characters from the Manga used at a time when most fans didn't know it existed, the alternative gamestyle that would be interesting if pieces were actually good and several super popular and recognizable monsters like Jinzo are useless in this game at level 3 summons with no abilities or even good material crests and only 10 in the attacking and defending stats. Worth a try if you want to pick out the strange gameplay choices from the time period as a straight game though, look elsewhere

  • Fun, if you're patient with a game of dice and strategy

Very fun to play, but there's no rule book or tutorials for how to play and get the results you want
