    Best sewing machine on market

    Janome 6600 is wonderful machine, easy to use and just the best in quality. I do a lot of sewing and I have a 6600 for myself and I bought this one for my daughter. The stitch selection is very large and u can alter those stitches in length and width. The scissors are also a great plus, once u have a machine with scissors u can’t hardly use one without. Sewing is even n nice and quiet. Just my all time favorite sewing machine.

    Two frustrating problems

    I’m very disappointed. The tension keeps changing; I set it then an hour later I need to adjust it again. And the automatic thread cutter cuts the bobbin thread so short I need to re-thread it after using it. I wish I hadn’t purchased it.

    Sews smoothly, feels solid, more features than I will use

    My daughter has this machine so I already knew it would be a good fit. It has many quilting features that I will likely never use as I sew mostly clothing. I would have preferred to have embroidery rather than the quilting but again, I don't embroider often enough for this to be an issue. Because there is a newer model out this price was about 1/2 of the cost of the next model up. What I didn't think about was how much more this machine weighed so I can't move it as easily when I want to use my serger like I could with my old machine. It is also higher than my old machine so I may want to find a sewing table that it can be mounted into to flatten that out. I am very happy with my purchase.

    Love the Janome 6700p!!

    So I had a Janome 6500 for years before getting this one. And it’s still fairly new to me so I haven’t used all the features. Right off I noticed how powerful the motor is and quiet. Steel construction throughout gives it a very solid feel when sewing. Superior needle threader on this model, comparative to the ease of a Brother machine. They built a lot of features for serious quilter/sewist in mind. Absolutely enjoying it!!

    Snowbil, Bill, is an awesome vendor that I would highly recommend. He sold me the Janome MC6600P, which I purchased as a present for my wife. He jumped through hoops to get it to me by Valentines Day. It actually got to me on Valentines Day, fantastic. My wife loves the machine and I'm ecstatic because she does. I called Bill and Diane about a minor issue and they were both gracious and extremely helpful. They happily resolved my issue and were extremely friendly while doing it.
