Vortex vs Night force, a tie, but, price dictates the winner.
Hard to say it is better than Night Force, but head to head I would say Vortex is just as clear and sharp. Put it this way I would take Night Force if it was the same price as Vortex, but since they are not I buy Vortex every time. I do not intentionally abuse fine optics, but when hunting things happen, rifles fall over, they get bounced around, you fall when carrying a rifle, it rains, it gets dusty, whatever. Vortex has never failed me. When properly mounted, sighted in and zeroed, Vortex works as good as an other high end rifle scope. I have three , 2 generation 1's , 2.5 x 10 x 32, and 1 gen 2, the 1 is lighter and works just as well, but the 2nd generation has up dated features, ie. lighted reticle controls and location and a more modern zero stop mechanism.
