    Such a lot of ability in this camera. You will use it for a long time before you "over-shoot" it. Small, light & comfortable with an easy to understand & use menu. A great "walking around" camera !

    Great entry-level Canon DSLR that can still deliver great photos.

    The XS was the real beginning of the generation of cameras still being built by Canon, progressing from the XS to the T1i, on through the T3, the T5, and the T5i. They all work with the same basic controls and settings, so if you learn to use the XS, you can then use any of the newer and much more expensive Canon DSLR's and already know what to expect and what you're doing. With only a 10.1 MP CMOS sensor, compared to the newer cameras having 18 MP sensors or even 22 if you go for the very high-end models, the image quality naturally isn't quite as good, but you still get tack-sharp photos that are much better than the human eye is capable of taking issue with. Even 10.1 is nothing to sneeze at, and you can print out up to 11x16" prints with this camera before you'll start to get any ...

    Great beginner camera

    I have a mark III and still really enjoy this camera, great value, and easy walk around camera for when I don't need to carry around a brick on my neck. I use the Mark III for events and its a little bulky to use on a daily basis, also doesn't have flash included. So this item is a great all-in one compact product with flash. Nice picture quality and ease of use.

    Very Good, Exactly What I Wanted

    I bought this camera for beginning astrophotography. It does very well and takes impressive great quality pictures for the 10.1mp. I like all of the options this camera has so I can adjust to whatever I'm using, either astro use or plain daytime normal use. Works great for both, it was described very well in the descriptions and was nearly brand new. I'm very satisfied with this camera.
