Great quality shaft
This shaft is actually better than the original factory shaft: it has no cloth boot and is more responsive. I did have to cut it down to size, however, to fit my 1989 Chevy 2500 Silverado (5-6 inches) and wish the instructions had discussed that possibility. It was a little nerve wracking to cut such an expensive part, knowing if I was wrong about the fit, it was not refundable. I am really glad I bought and installed this shaft.

No more rag joint
Installed on my 1989 Silverado I had to cut about 8 inches for it to fit but it works perfect no more rag joint no more steering play easy install after cutting an drilling 1 hole

Goodby rag joint!
Make sure you spray a coat of paint, the raw metal will rust very easily! Other than that tip, I highly recommend this shaft!
