the best of the rest?
it's a great little camera to do it's job. It might be a bit short on functionality but that does not matter, after you get it set it will stay there forever. I have placed mine behind mirror so it does not obstruct any view and now the camera keeps "beeping" at me. That's because of some features like GPS (Garmin map) based speed camera alert, or slow car in front of me. Picture quality is ok, and I would advice anyone to use 1080, 60FPS setting as it gives best picture.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Unreliable!
I made the mistake of buying two of these units, a 55 & a 45 both are now faulty. one has a 'white screen' & will not display images - I now know this is a common fault. the other which is only a couple of months old is showing a fault In recording, blaming the SD card (I have tried 3x incl the original supplied with the camera, 1x that works with the other camera & 17 brand new Samsung SD- fault clearly lies with the unit! Small but very powerful
The unit is small in size but the screen is still easily viewable. The magnetic mount is also small and unobtrusive while being solid. With e added advantage of Speed Camera alerts and Lane Departure warning I think this is a fantastic dashcam. Complete ease of installation
Complete ease of use. The gps position and speed record is amazing. Travelapse is great fun. The minute by minute looping means everything gets recorded; supplied with 8gig card but buy the max 64 and this baby records all. Picture quality is superb and the mag mount works a treat.
