Under the magnified light, I discovered the normal amount of dead skills cells and grease that get into the small cracks and crevices, but a wipe down with IPA, a couple of minutes with a pick and you couldn't tell me this controller was BRAND NEW! Used for 2 months...
Worked great until it would not take a charge. Came in new-appearing factory packaging, worked flawlessly for two months. Now, regardless of which one of 5 mini usb cords or which one of 3 different sources, including factory cord using PS4 as the source, it will not charge. It is 100% aftermarket unaltered. My other controller was purchased used from a private party, will charge perfectly well from any source, using any cord. Been using it for 9 months with zero issues.
