    Lucky buy for a 47 year old machine.

    Vender was honest about not knowing the condition, selling "as is" without a means for testing any of its functions other than power. The photo they posted was accurate and I took a chance and received a 3/4 U-Matic deck as good as new. Part of my 5 star posting is that shipping for a nearly 60 pound deck cross country was very reasonably priced and the deck was well packed.

    It was a great buy, great value and great product.

    When the Sony U-MATIC VO-5600 Professional Video Cassette Recorder w/ Manual & Cord arrived. The box was a little mantled from shipping. I did have to go the hardware store and pickup 4 screws and feet for the unit, so it isn't directly on the shelf and preventing air flow. I also notice that there was no manual, even though it was stated there was one. Darn Plug the unit in, tested it and the unit works great. I can not be more happier. It was a great buy, great value and great product.
