Easy to use and love the "no bag" feature.
I really like this vacuum cleaner. It has a nice long cord and hose which is really a plus. Did not know if the color was going to be okay but I really love the color. Am glad I do not need bags anymore. Kenmore has always been a good vacuum cleaner for us. We still use our other two for out in the garage and upstairs so do not have to lug vacuum up and down the stairs. We have all carpeting so the Power mate works quit well on carpet. Since no floor attachment came with this vacuum cleaner I am using the floor attachment from our old Kenmore vacuum cleaner. Also, the brush attachment for this one is too soft and does not work very well and I am going to use the old brush attachment. I am really glad the attachments from our old vacuum fit this one. I received one that had an issue but which was resolved amicably and If I order another vacuum, I would order another 22614 because I really liked the quality and looks of this Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner. It appears to have many good features. I like that it is a bagless cleaner. I did not like the fact that it did not include a bare floor brush attachment but I understand that you can order one to fit this product. I love this vacuum cleaner. It is easy to use, has powerful suction, and is very solidly made. Not flimsy. Excellent Value for the Price!
This was listed as a good buy in it's category in a leading consumer review magazine. It was literally hundreds of dollars less then some bag less canister vacs rated. Plus I found an 'open box' offered for sale. I can say for the money, this is the best vacuum I have ever had or used. It is well designed and easy to carry, use, and stow away. Not too loud and sufficient 'suck'. I have no idea if I compared it to a $900 vac, that my opinion on this one would change. Finally a clean house but it screams...
We have had a dyson ball and it was horrible. this is great and cleans way better than my dyson - i even had to empty the canister during it. but the vacuum screams even if its empty. if i plug the air filter hole it stops but im assuming it needs air to flow to work properly so i have no idea what to do....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bit Fussy
Great price, works perfectly for us. It's difficult to get the canister really clean, but for the price it can't be beat. I had a house cleaner years ago who actually wrapped the cord around the canister as she had never seen a retractable. This one works great, and saves the back. It works
Part arrived quickly and installed in a few minutes. While the exterior dark gray frame was in good shape, the white reel itself is more flimsy than the original. This claims to be OEM, but it appears to be a Chinese replica. The white reel is slightly warped and out of true as it rotates. This is likely due to a period of prolonged storage or perhaps being exposed to excessive heat.
