Easy to play with good depth in the decisions made each turn. Good RNG Mitigation mechanics.
Amazing gameplay, good RNG mitigation, app is awesome and easy to use and minimizes management. Miniatures are also of surprisingly good quality, substantially better than most board game miniatures I've seen. I'm usually picky and only paint KDM/Creature Caster/Games Workshop stuff, but I'll definitely be painting up the miniatures in this box.

Solid entry into the app based board game era
It's really nice to not have to have a game master for game night. Lord of the rings is a very satisfying entry in app-based board games. I would not recommend this game at the retail price of $100; it simply doesn't have enough content at this pricing. However, I would say to pull the trigger and buy within the $60 range.
