Delightful and exciting
This movie ( based off a book) is about a young lady who goes to Europe and falls in love with a Duke who's 13th in line for the throne. They marry , buy a large estate in France , he goes to war, she has a baby , he comes back from the war. They help people who need money to survive so they buy their precious jewels and later they put all the jewels in stores they own. All the while they are raising their children who get in the family business as they become adults. There are troubles along the way as in any family but all works out for all. The movie is long but very good, I recommend it's great from start to finish.

it follow"s the story well, and is easy to watch
it is hard to get vhs, which go bad. it is nice to have dvd"s which are as good as or better than the original vhs. thank you for having this dvd to take the place of the movie.
