  • Some May Not Have Enjoyed It but I Did

Okay so nothing can really live up to Arkham City but this is still a great installment in the series. I'd say it ties with Asylum for my second-favorite gameplay experience (we'll just forget about Origins). It's got plenty to do without taking up too much of your time, introduces fun Batmobile mechanics, and the updated graphics and lack of loading screens impressed me. That being said, again this does not quite live up to City. I 100%-ed both Asylum and City (a few DLC achievements notwithstanding) but have no interest in 100%-ing this one. I simply don't want to do all of the Riddler challenges in this one, nor did I in Origins. Just not very compelling puzzles, and they REALLY pushed the Batmobile everywhere they could (granted...the Batmobile was freakin' cool). Everything else about it is well worth it though. Gameplay: 8/10 Story: 6/10 Big Reveal: Was surprised only by the fact that they actually did exactly what I told myself, "No they wouldn't do something that obvious." Batmobile: Turned the game into GTA Gotham City (9/10) Overall, as a general gaming experience: 8/10

  • Worthy Finale

This is a worthy continuation to the Arkham franchise in terms of scope, overall polish, and new additions. Gotham is as good as ever. Extremely well-designed and fun to explore. Unfortunately, there is nothing much to do there, except for the Riddler trophies, which are fun and interesting, but don't quite cover the possibilities. Gameplay is also very good. The fighting system we all know and love is back, which some new additions. As always, those additions are a breath of new air, but the core is the same. Perhaps the most important addition is the Bat-mobile. The controls are excellent. Rocksteady tried to find ways to make the infamous car useful for the missions, and I think they have succeeded. People criticize the game for the fact that there's too much of the Bat-mobile in the game, and I think they're partially right. In the parts where the it serves merely as a gadget, Bat-mobile is extremely fun to use, whether it's for solving puzzles or traversing Gotham. However, when it's usage is forced upon you, it's very annoying and feels lazy. Bat-mobile should not be used as the only means to win a boss battle. Boss battles are the times when we most definitely want to be the Batman, and disperse justice using our fists. The story was amazing. The stakes are higher than ever. This really feels like a end to a trilogy, and an impressive one at that. Overall, I enjoyed this game a lot and would recommend to anyone. There's nothing to do after completing the main missions thought. Riddler trophies are fun, but not sufficient to keep you engaged, so keep that in mind.

  • Amazing super hero game, be the bat!

Best game in the genre, finish the trilogy with a satisfying conclusion. Skip the new dc films and play this game instead. Pros: graphics, fighting, story missions, huge open world. Cons: batmobile overused, side missions repeat, no more joker, dlc hit or miss. Score: 9.25/10...buy now!

  • Good but not without flaws.

I loved the first two Akrham games but this one left me kind of disappointed. It's great game but has its flaws, the first one being the freaking rain; I just can't take it anymore. It's an enjoyable game but it doesn't compare to the first games of the series. Don't get too hyped up about it.

  • An extraordinarily-made game

Perfecto mundo. One of the most addictive games made. If you like Assassins Creed, God of War, Shadow of Mordor, and Uncharted, you are definitely going to enjoy the storyline of this game. I’m an avid fan of Batman and I can conclude that it is fittingly and rightfully satisfying.

  • Fantastic Visuals

Solid game all around. Liked the previous titles better but its a nice conclusion for those who into the franchise and the story is so compelling though it may not be so astonishing or anything for Batman diehard fans.

  • Both Games are worth investing in

You can easily complete in fifteen hours. That is why I found this game so enjoyable. The check points seem to be evenly paced. But what impressed me the most is this game has the best and easiest combat system I have ever played except for maybe Fallout 4. I was able to play the whole game through on normal level. But the last boss I had to change my level to easy. I just could not press that x button fast enough to grab the knife. But after changing the level it as not as difficult. That is another thing I liked about this game. You can change the level at any point. Only main drawback is you have to sit and watch numerous cut scenes. There is no way to bypass them. But actually you will not mind. A very compelling story keeps you intrigued all the way until the final end. The graphics are astounding. I even think they might be better than Fallout 4. The voice acting is also very impressive and really helps to immerse you into the game. The game is very unique. Think of it as a composite of 1886 Knights of the Round Table meets Resident Evil. Batman has great graphics but when everything is so dark it is difficult for me to say how true that is. The game mechanics are very good but you have to have a good memory of what combination of buttons to press. Though there are on screen visuals of what buttons to push by the time you read the instructions you are being attacked. The puzzles are a little annoying. In fact they have become so annoying I ended up buying a hard copy of the walk through manual. The bat mobile does not handle as effortlessly as I thought it would. Bringing up menus can be a pain. Sometimes you have to press a button to get to one menu and then press another button to get to the menu inside that menu. The number of gadgets can be overwhelming and become frustrating at times. But overall it seems to be a good game.

  • Great as always

Like the PS3 Batman games, this one does not let you down. Same diabolical characters and a new story line. Great fun.

  • Arkham Knight

Beautiful graphics and the price was absolutely amazing honestly. I usually can’t find the game for the price at which I bought it for since it’s usually pretty expensive. So good price for sure. Thank you
