    Swap out expensive CFL s

    An electronic ballast for odd CFL bulbs failed. I discarded the ballast, used weird 4-pin to e27 converters and replaced the two $14 CFLs with these LED bulbs. The total cost for parts is less than 15% of the cost to replace the ballast, is cooler, uses less energy and is longer lasting.
