Best series EVER!
By far the classiest country series ever produced. I thank God for the gorgeous scenery, plot twists based on authentic human scenarios, and I always learn something new about our beautiful equine companions. Yes, the female characters are always attractive, slim, and terrific equestrians. Yes the men are handsome and well-meaning. That being said, it's a joy to watch people interact with courtesy after tragedy or dismay, and eventually resolve their differences....and what a joy to watch the younger cast members grow up to be such interesting and kind adults. This is the best series I have ever seen. It is a good family show, filled with lots of entertainment, excitement, emotion. It teaches many lessons of the heart and also can teach you about horses. 5 Hearts for Heartland!
My husband and I discovered this series, and fell in love with it. The story draws you in as it unfolds and the characters grow, and some mature. We began with the pilot, season one, and so on.... I am happy to see that the seasons continue, and fan base keep growing. This reminds me of how 'Little House' and 'Walton' captured the of all that followed them. Are you tired of the canned television programing that is being forced down our throats by people that "know what you want"? Well Heartland is a plesant diversion from the shoot em up, blood and gore, win at all cost mind set we are used to. It is not only appropriate for all ages, it is actually enjoyed by all ages. There is something for everyone in this well written and well acted series. It reminds you of a time when family values and doing the right thing were part of how we were raised. Sure there are bad people in Heartland just like in real life, but the core values of the cast and how they live their daily lives, reflect those values and should challenge all of us to be so strong. Watch it with your friends, watch it with your family, watch it with someone special to you, but make sure to watch it. This is season eight and each one is better than the last. See them all and decide for yourself but I for one am already sold and I can't wait for each season to be released. Great family entertainment
The characters are interesting and the actors are all great-a true ensemble cast. The story lines have evolved over the eight seasons and are never boring. The new characters that have been added throughout the series have always fit in well and created an added dimension to the storyline. There are not many shows on television that can be watched as a family but this one definitely can. My husband and I both love it. Disc wrong
I really enjoyed the heartland DVDs . But the 5th DVD is wrong. It is marked right, but what's on it is wrong. It has previous episodes on it. It is sopposta be, All I need is you and Written in stone. Was really disappointed with this. Is there anything that can be done, or anyone I can contact. Excellent series for the whole family. One of my absolute favorites. I bought the entire series for my granddaughter because she loves horses. I got so involved I binged watched it all myself.
