Title is accurate if you view the movie portraying this family's views of black people vs. most other whites in that region at that time.
Touching story of a white woman willing to go to jail and face death for a cause that affected blacks in South Africa. It was heart-warming to see the friendships she had with people. Shining example for her daughter facing ridicule by other white children in school, who were raised to be prejudiced.
