    Cast a mile

    I've owned ambassador reels for over 30 years. My very first was a 4600 I got for Christmas when I was 11 years old which still works flawlessly. Since then I've owned several more various sizes and models. I been hooked for life. Havent had no need to switch to any other brands. Clean them and oil them they will last. Ive got some i been using for over 20 years and still going. So far the 6600 C4 is my favorite yet. It will cast a mile. Great for bank fishers that like to sling out to them deep holes in the river or wherever. It will also pull them in when you hook a good one. I also love the bait alarm on it. Im a big fan on bait alarms. Its an all around great reel for all the species of fish I target. I highly recommend to anyone who wants a reel that will cast some distance.

    I have cheaper reels that work better than this one. For the price I thought it was worth a try. Caught a couple small fish with it and feels like it binds up internally.

    This Abu Garcia C4 6600 reel exudes quality...

    I am gratified knowing that buyers can still purchase quality items that are made today at reasonable prices. With the current influx of mass-produced junk, I refuse to lay down good money for pretty reels that feature all kinds of bells and whistles but lack the quality and backbone of comparable items (style-wise) of reels made in the past. That's why I hunted down an Abu Garcia reel that was made in Sweden. This reel rocks! Talk about quality through-and-through. I cannot wait to break it in on the big, bad fishes of Guam and elsewhere. With this kind of reel, I know the powerful skipjacks are destined to succumb to the skillet sooner than they think! HAR!     Great reel at a great price

    Bought the 6600 c4...awesome reel at a great price! Super smooth to cast right out of the box. Fairly light to use inshore casting jigs/grubs, but stout enough for redfish and larger species. Holds plenty of line. Put on 30 lb power pro, which is a great fit. Love the quicker retrieve. Love the clicker function. Great reel for the price. My current favorite reel!
