Makita is always a good tool.
I have always had great success with Makita products. This hammer drill is no exception. I used it to drill 14 5/8 inch holes in four inches deep in a concrete floor. It did not skip a beat. Never overheated like some other brands I have had in the past would do. One would never know that this was a refurbished unit. It looked new. Not really 3/4 inch chuck. It’s really 1/2 inch.
From reviews I’ve read, Makita says this will drill a 3/4 inch wide hole, but the chuck is really only 1/2 inch wide. A little deceiving for sure, but it’s still a great drill for what you can get them for. I got mine for $70 plus shipping. You can’t beat a great deal like that.
