NotesGerman bandleader Bert Kaempfert was one of the most successful conductors, arrangers, and recording artists in the orchestral pop music field. A Swingin' Safari is a classic Kaempfert 1962 recording, which helped make him an international star. This is one of the easy listening genre's most endearing recordings with the original LP being a collector's item. Pressed on audio-grade 180 gram vinyl.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of this pressing. It sounds excellent! Too bad they couldn’t have used the original “Decca” rainbow label. That would have been so exciting for people like myself that like original record labels. Still a great buy!

Bert Kaempfert was a Musical genius. He was a great music Visionary and fantastic musician and music arranger. Most of his music was from the 1950s and 1960s. He predicted a specialized in easy listening to jazz music. Bert Kaempfert was from Germany.
A Swingin Safari album it's just a lot of fun. I'm age 57 and I remember my parents playing this album when I was a Youngster and it just kind of stuck. If there's anyone out there still interested in nice, fun swinging music with a touch of light and easy music combined this is the album for you.
