Works like its supposed to
Got this to replace wornout funnel on perfectly good gas cans. Does the job. Has sufficient combinations to fit any can, from what I could tell. Replaced 3 differnt funnels from gas cans from many different generations, and all of them fit well and worked perfectly. The price leaves something to be desired, when you consider that this is just a bunch of plastic parts. However, given the outrageous price they want for new cans that have funnel that impossible to use, then these make sense. Bad Vendor; Bad Product
Bought 2 of these from this vendor. Went to add one of them to one of my plastic gas can and the yellow cap that goes around the spout immediately cracked and is now worthless. No, this was not from over tightening. The cap had barely seated when it cracked. Luckily I had the 2nd one as a replacement, but am not left with a useless spout and a vendor who refuses to answer messages or do anything about the broken item. I see this as a manufacturer defect yet the vendor is unresponsive even after multiple attempts at contacting them. I have purchased a number of these spouts locally over the years and always had good luck with them. Not sure if it was just this particular spout or a downgrade in manufacturing quality. Either way, I am not out the money and have a useless spout. Bottom line: If you're going to buy one of these, DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

These replacement spouts will save you from having to buy brand new gas cans!
I actually saw a video on YouTube that caught my attention to this product. I had two plastic gas cans I purchased about 7 years ago just before moving out here to the desert, and I was shocked and very dismayed at how quickly the inner workings of the filler spouts turned to garbage, making the entire thing almost unusable. Much to my delight, the video brought to my attention these replacement spouts that were available and I promptly ordered two of them. They attached very quickly and appear to form a tight seal, and though I've yet to actually fill the gas cans with gasoline, I'm sure they'll do just fine and I am very thankful I've salvaged what was originally an extremely poor design flaw in the original product and I therefore now have the use of my gas cans once again, and at a minuscule price compared to buying new gas cans. Great fix for otherwise practically useless gas cans
This spout is what makes these new (practically useless) gas cans work. This is the second time I have bought this spout and it continues to not disappoint. The 10050 model does away with the need for a funnel to put gas in a car because the tip will fit into the filler neck. But the real secret is the vent plug. That allows gas to flow freely by allowing air into the can from a source other than the spout itself. Just drill a 1/2 inch hole in the top of the can opposite the spout, clean out the shavings from inside the can (best done while can is dry), snap in the vent and it is ready to pour. I can empty a 5 gal can in about a minute with this spout and vent combo. Note: the 1/2 inch hole is best drilled with a step drill bit ... they are cheaper than a 1/2 inch twist drill bit and don't make as many shavings. You can find them at any hardware or parts store and big boxes ... and probably eBay too!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Make Your Gas Cans Work Again
Recommend them to anyone who hates fooling around with the idiotic mandated spouts on todays gas cans. I run thru 5 to 15 gallons of gas a months running my yard tractor, New spouts make it easy to fill gas tank with no spills something you can't do with the integral spouts on new cans. EZ pour (lot of three) 10050 spout replacement for old gas cans
Bought single 10050 spout previously, thought this was same, but these three came with only one large spout-retainer screw on cap. Fortunately, it fit my 10 ten year old gas cans with no leaks. Costco had 5 gal poly jerry gas cans with different "safety plastic spouts" on sale for ~$16. Cans kept out of sun, so get another ten years out of these $10 cans from years past. Safe and Easy to Use!
This fit my gas can perfectly (1 gal. can from Walmart). The original spout that came on the can leaked every time I tried to use it, making for very unsafe conditions. This new EZ Pour Spout is much like the old spouts of years ago, and is very safe. The flexibility makes it easy to see if the gas tank is almost full or not, something impossible with the original stiff spout that came on the gas can. I highly recommend the EZ Pour Spout both for ease of use and for safety. I recommend using a 1/2" drill for drilling through wood in order to get a perfectly round hole for the vent to snap into. Do not use a twist drill for drilling through steel because it will grab the plastic gas can and wallow out the hole.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Make new gas jugs usable again
The new gas can/jugs are very clumsy and hard to use. Require 2 people to pour. Just unscrew the new nozzle and use this instead. Will have to keep some of the existing parts, like the plastic screw neck/nut, but use this new nozzle with washers to get yourself a usable gas can again!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
