Fantastic but long
I bought this book mostly for the stunning holographic pictures. They are by far some of the most phenomenal graphics I've seen. But the writing is a bit long and rather small print. Fun to see the animals move on each page
"Safari" has a total of eight different animals that move by simply lifting the pages up and down. It's a phototicular book so the animals all look like they are running, chewing, galloping, etc. Since I could only upload 5 pictures, the additional animals in the book are: gazelle, giraffe and the cheetah (on the front of the book). Each page has information about the animals as well.

BEST children's book!
I bought two of these photicular books (different themes) last fall and brought them as gifts for friends' kids in Russia - they all LOVED them so much, they wanted more right away! This is no light-weight cargo, but soooo much worth it - kids enjoy the images so much, and the books also help them learn English! Fun and informative! I give books away occasionally and people say nice things about them usually but on this one they go gaga because it is unique and the commentary accompanying each picture is so informative and interesting.
