When you seek accuracy in your bow tips, the Muzzy design with Trocar tip is the answer. The 100-grain, 4-blade broadhead comes preassembled. Each broadhead is constructed of a steel ferrule and tip. They are designed with a 1-inch fixed blade diameter expanding to 1 5/8 inches. On impact, its total cutting diameter is 2 5/8 inches. The mechanical blades' thickness is .35 inches. EXTREMELY Good Broadheads!!!
These Muzzy Trocars HBX are truly BAD TO THE BONE!!! They represent Muzzy Quality and Toughness extremely well!! Leaves a Brutal wound channel!! Best of all you dont need to fumble around with o rings or shock collars. I hated that!! Very durable and can be used more than once as long as the blades arent bent. You simply reset the blades manually, and your set for another round with Mr. Deer, hog, turkey, nilgai, axis or whatever the game your after. These blades are crazy sharp even from the factory. 2 5/8" OF CUTTING DIAMETER!! The game wont be running far with a wound like that. Launching these from my Crossbow makes it that much more lethal. I purchased two packs, everything seemed ok until I opened them the expanding blades barely move even with force, I shot one into a target and got great penetration but soon found that's because the mechanical blades didn't budge. They were not only dull but the blades looked as though they were serrated, that's how beat up and burred up they were not sure if they were legit or aftermarket packaged as if they were. Even the grinding on the tip seemed off. After looking at multiple stock photos of the real thing something doesn't seem right could just be me but I was already expecting to have to touch the blades up for season to make sure they were razor sharp but didn't think I would have to re grind the bevel on each one. Awesome broad head
Excellent broad head for hunting whitetail deer. Broadheads fly similar to my field points ( they shoot one inch off compared to my field points with the mechanical blades positioned north and south and the fixed blades east and west on your arrow) shooting 55# Mathews bow. Best broadheads I've owned

Muzzy Trocar HBX just works.
This broadhead shoots the same as my field points and is as good as any and better than most when it comes to taking game. I have not lost any game when using this broad head. I used to shoot the NAP Spitfire but lost a few deer on sharp angling shots. Only one blade opened and the arrow deflected. The design of the Trocar HBX will not do this. I shot this 8 at 61 yds. with my Ten Point Crossbow he only went 20 yds before folding up like a cheap card table.

Devastating!
Used the Trocar HBX 100 grain for the first time on a six point buck at 30 yds and the results were amazing. A complete pass thru nicking ribs on the way in and before exiting on the off side and burying ten inches into dirt behind him.The deer never knew what hit it.Short recovery with an excellent blood trail. Broad head held up well. With a little re-sharpening touch up it will be ready to go back in the quiver.

Great tip for high speed crossbows
extremely lethal crossbow tip. getting harder to find. I recommend these for high speed crossbows. Have taken 2 whitetail deer in 2 years and never went more than 30 yds. Massive holes.
