    It was interesting to compare this book with the recently viewed movie on tv. I enjoyed the story and am having fun seeing differences between the book and the movie.     More Compelling and Detailed than the Movie

    After watching the movie, I wanted to read the book. The truth is the truth and the book's details are quite compelling and TRUE, no matter the politics of the day. Betty overcame a high risk of death countless times. This book illustrates living as an American in the Islamic State of Iran in a compelling way. The movie was good. The book is really good.
