  • One Blogger Mom's "Memoir" on Becoming an Empty-Nester: Mostly about her particular stay home life. Couldn't relate as a single Mom w/a career.

I could not relate to this book due to my life circumstances. I was a newly single mother in survival mode when my older two went to college. A full-time employed woman with goals and an identity outside the home. It actually made me proud of how well I handled my happy, resilient kids successfully flying the nest. If you are a stay/work at home Mom in a marriage, this book may help you. It is written well and a quick read.
