New Product in a Sealed Box.
Brand new product in a sealed box for half the price. You get plenty of saline pods to start off with. The money is in the purchase of new pods (like printers vs. the ink). You can buy pods online or at Walgreens and such. There is a hack video on YT showing how to make it work without the pods. Navage wasn't worth the cost.
The Navage Nasal Care is difficult to use. I've tried using it 4 times and I'm still having trouble with getting it right. I've used a saline nasal irrigation bottle with no issues. I also don't appreciate that you have to use the special saline discs for the machine. Just more money for something else when I should be able to use any saline solution with the machine. Then I got the stand through the promo for free just paid for shipping. That was hard to setup and I'm not someone who normally has issues with following directions. I don't even get why I would want or need the stand. You have to take the machine apart to use it. The water doesn't drain out very easily either. I am not happy with buying this machine. I should have stayed with the free bottle and saline packets even though I got the Navage at a good price on eBay.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Disappointed in Product
The suction does not work well, needs more flow and takes to long to empty the fluid. I was disappointed that the device was that small, it looks much larger in the TV ad. The nasal pillows are angled so that they get obstructed by the nasal divider. The salt pods are to concentrated and irritate the sinuses. Other nasal rinses use salt and baking soda combination that stop the irritation. The NeilMed rinse squeeze bottle allow you to apply the solution as fast as you want and allow you to tilt your head one side to get to more of your sinuses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A New Refreshing Experience
Nasal irrigation is a brand new experience for me, so I cannot compare the Navage system to any other, but I think it is the only one to use suction rather than pressure or gravity. The device itself is very well designed and made, and after some trepidation that I would choke or water-board myself, I find it very pleasant to use. I did not get results with a NediPot which I shared with the new allergist so I refused that part of my "therapy". She was not happy with my response. Then I asked about the Navage and she thought that would be a good choice for me. IT WAS A GREAT CHOICE. It uses more water and has a gentle and consistent force. The only draw-back I've experience has been the pressure in my ears at the beginning and end of the process. goodness gracious!
my son had sinus congestion for few weeks. nothing was working just after 2 uses he claims to be better. although we haven't let him stop at 2 we insisted he still use it. I'm now feeling congestion and willing to give it a shot.. although the BOX WAS OPEN AND security seal was compromised. I have photos of that. was not brand new in packaging. but unit was sealed in it's own factory package.

Easy and comfortable to use - great results
Was kind of afraid of this after reading some of the other reviews which had compared the navage system to being waterboarded. However, I have found it to be a breeze to use. It was very easy to put together and parts were sturdy. I also purchased the stand which is very handy. The first time I used it, it cleaned out my sinuses and I was surprised the amount of "stuff" there was in there. It unclogged my sinuses better then what I had been using before and less messy. It works there is no two ways about it.
Would like to say this machine works extremely well. I bought it for my mother who needs to go for a operation to clear out her severe sinuses that is infected and clogged. The ENT told her she has only two choices either use steriods and antibiotics or get the operation done and even then she will still need to take drugs afterwards. She started using this machine yesterday and stuff started coming out. Way more than what is possible with blowing her nose. Also because it is water you don't end up damaging the skin of your nose with tissues or toilet paper. The water goes into the sinus holes and washes out the sinus. And this is what you want however you have to keep using it until the hard stuff starts coming out. My mother used it 9 times in a row and stuff kept coming out but she said there was no pain just mild discomfort. I am confident if she keeps using it she won't need to get the operation done. If you can get rid of the festering sinusses that is stuck you don't have any problems and all the other symptoms will clear up because it is that sinusses that makes you sick. Your body is perfect. However the company is shady with how they handle the pods. You must use the pods for it to work. But don't worry just look online you can easily get past that nonsense. I would definetly recommend this irrigation machine. Better to try this first and see if it works than to make someone else rich that is running a business. PS: To make your own sollution get yourself a distiller the ones you can buy on ebay works great. Then use 1/4 teaspoon sea salt and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda with warm distilled water.
