Not working but can fix
I have not been able to complete one game without the screen freezing. I added a replacement door and now I have to change the 72 point connector. I have cleaned the connector mutiple times and it works but then freezes. I am hoping th new 73 point connector will finally fix the problem. I feel like a Ninendo repair man now. Quality system
I'm very picky when it comes to purchasing most things, especially gaming systems. I was pleased to see that this NES was in AMAZING condition by my standards. The big issue I had was that I could not get games to play at all initially. Fortunately there is a store near where I live that repairs old systems and the issue was that the pin connector was unable to establish a connection, which is a crazy simple fix. So still a five star review from me, especially because a new pin connector is a cheap fix. Also no graphic distortion or other issues with the system. The 1-chip is much better than the non 1-chip versions!
Compared to a regular SNES 91-93 edition, the 1-chip revision delivers graphics that are way better. Pixels are more accurate instead of the semi-fuzzy pixel you would get from a non 1-chip version. Absolutely worth its money! The images clearly show how the pixels are way better on the 1-chip console (the image that shifts a bit to the upper right, is the non 1-chip version)
