    Comprehensive and thorough

    I bought this book to get not only a better working knowledge about ASD, but also to communicate more effectively with medical professionals and others about it. I have another book by Dr. Prizant “Uniquely Human” and find his summaries and explanations to be helpful and moderated by good science and heart-felt experience. This book is part of a 5 volume series on language and intervention. It’s a thorough and well written and I feel makes a good effort to challenge and help move the common sense attitudes towards ASD. It gives good methods that equips the reader with a working knowledge so that they can be confident in what course of action makes the most sense.
