Lightweight with awesome sound
I bought the trumpet silent mike for my son because I recently bought the trombone silent mike for me and I like it a lot. i purchased on of the earlier ones but this generation is lighter, cleaner and when i play to cd's I can actually hear my trombone with the music. An Absolute Must Own
I had a generation 1 Silent Brass System that finally just gave out. It was clunky and awkward. This one is streamlined, light and is such a necessity for a trumpeter that lives in connecting condos and has a wife and son who go to bed rather early. Amazing ! At first I was reluctant to buy this. However, I have no choice since I need it to practice at home, instead of practice in a car , after sending my kid everymorning. And it's seem to be the only option available in the market. Then, when it arrived, I felt excited as I afraid it might not keep the noise down that much. However, it turn out to be fantastic equipment. From what I judge, it could turn the noise down' by 80 % Now my wife won't complain anymore. The only draw back, I think , is the change of sound.
