    Best printer for "my" mobile solution

    Epson XP-830. I needed a front loading printer due to space. I was a little concerned due to this item being a "Grade B" product, and half retail price. When it arrived I was pleased that it had come in original packaging as if I had picked it up from one of the high street outlets. Everything was just fine. Setup is quite easy with touch screen display prompting you for the next step. Print for photos is quicker than I have been used to and quality is just great. A sheet of text is just speedy. Front loading paper trays do not hold a lot of paper, A4 tray holds around 50 sheets of regular paper and the other tray around 20 of whatever size photo paper your using. There is also an android app (Epson iprint) which is fab for printing your photos straight from your phone over WiFi or WiFi ...

    Shaky!

    I ordered this printer against my better judgement. I wanted to order the equivalent HP printer that had much better reviews and also has an Ink Club which is a brilliant idea. My other half decided that we should buy the Epson. We had an Epson XP800 before and it was a pain in that we kept having to regularly clean the print heads - use a lot of ink and therefore after a certain time the printer is useless as it will not work unless you want to spend a fortune with Epson. I did not want to go through this again. Apart from this, the print is VERY wobbly - at least with the other Epson it was a very crisp, even print. I wish I'd have stuck to my guns and bought the HP. Haven't tried to print photos yet, but not very hopeful.

    Excellent value

    Persuaded to buy this by a well known consumer magazine and I'm not disappointed. How things have improved in the last ten years or so! Print quality is excellent. Don't know how they do it fro the money. Let's hope it's not too hungry on the ink!

    Small Footprint with great features!

    Always had Epson printers, never had any serious problems with any of them. The only thing I'm not keen on is the price of the cartridges. Just printed my first A4 photo on this machine and not disappointed, very good quality.
