    Beautiful Doll!

    I remember wanting this doll as a child when she was released, and was so happy to find her here for a reasonable price! Hair, face sculpt/paint, and outfit are all very well done. I was impressed with the attention to detail! She also actually looks Egyptian and not just like Barbie in a costume. I bought mine to display as a collector, but this would also be suitable for a child who takes good care of toys.

    Great Figure Especially for History Buff

    The Princess of the Nile Barbie is one of the best Dolls of the World figures. Exquisite features and fine balance dressed in authentic outfit of the New Kingdom Period of Egypt c. 1570-c.1069 BCE although I think they were going for the later Ptolemaic Dynasty Period and wanted her to look like Cleopatra VII. My daughter had the figure when she was little but that was lost so I just bought another - two actually - to accent an Egyptian display. Many fine figures in the Dolls of the World line but Egyptian Barbie is absolutely among the best.

    Princess of the Nile is the Queen of my collection!

    This doll is astoundingly beautiful and fun. With her makeup and fabulous hair, she can be the Princess of the Nile or a 70’s Disco Queen. So fun to play with, the possibilities are endless. Her hair is soft to touch-a combination of braids and natural sections
