Big spring seat does the job.
My bicycle has both front and rear spring suspension but there have been times my butt has appreciated the saddle seat's built-in spring system to reduce any further jolts that will cause excess fatigue. well made - comfortable for casual riding
I'm about 250 pounds and haven't ridden bicycles for decades. Started looking for a used bike recently and knew there were two things I didn't want this time around - those drop handlebars and the skinny seats that usually go along with them. I bought this seat to replace a slightly smaller seat and I would say this is an improvement over what the bike I bought came with. I was expecting to bottom out the springs on this seat hitting bumps but that hasn't been a problem. I will say that the springs seemed a little squeaky when I first put it on but they don't seem too bothersome after a couple of weeks of use. One thing that Did surprise me is the seat may not be 100% waterproof. Most of the time I park the bike next to the side of the house and one night we had about two inches of rain... the next day when I went for a ride I had a pretty wet butt when I got home! So now I put a plastic bag over it at night. Overall I'm quite happy with this seat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
