      surprisingly effective. The plug screws tight into handlebar and the light by magnet to the plug with a twist to lock in place.

These in my opnion are better than the similar cateye orbs as the fit is better and the protrude smaller. They are also brighter, but thats probably not a good thing as you can see the red light from your riding position which might dazzle. I angled my bars so the lightpath to my eyes is obscured by top of bars

      Good value for many.

      this is my second set of lamps as one of the first ones fell of while out on a ride, I couldn't recover it as I didn't hear it fall off. this would be my only gripe. These are not expensive lamps to buy and offer good safety, the retainer holds the bar tape tightly as well, which is handy.
