    Don't read before sleep.

The story pulls you in right from the start and doesn't let up. It is fun to read, hard to put down, and quite scary. If that is your cup of tea, you will love it. I first read Relic about 20 years ago and had been wracking my brain to recall the title. As soon as I thought of it, I ordered it. Not sorry.

  • Relic is captivating.

First of all the book was in excellent (new) condition. The price was very good. The authors are so amazing. I never wanted to put the book down. I read it in 3 days.

  • Modern day Sherlock Holmes

Agent Pendergast and his many " sidekicks" take the long and often off beat way to solving crimes, but he always gets the job done.

  • Way better than the movie!

Plus it introduces the Pendergast character- who features prominently in their later novels. This book also has a sequel- Reliquary- which was also really good. Science/monster themed. Very intelligently written. Chewed through both books in a week.
