Quality Product
I've had both the RMR Type 2 and the Holosun 507c V2. While there are some features I like about the 507c (namely the Shake Awake), I still prefer the size of the dot and the window shape of the RMR. I also find the auto setting on the RMR to work surprisingly well, whereas the same was not at all true of the 507c. I have always paid sub $450 for my RM06 optics. Look for deals wherever you can. This being my third RMR I have noticed that the construction has changed slightly. The aluminum housing is now better shaped (smoother) and the finish appears better than the models I bought a year ago. I did notice that the brightness + and - buttons are not as tactile as they were before (they don't depress as much), which to me is a downgrade. The auto setting also seems to keep the dot at about +1 brightness settings from the older Type 2s that I have. I think in general that's an improvement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have had a holosun 407 on my G17 for a year or so and it's been a great optic but I have always wanted a trijicon RMR. This was the absolute best price I could find for one, finally pulled the trigger on it and I couldn't be happier. Its super compact yet very rugged. Pick one up you won't be disappointed!

Solved my problem.
Always liked my RMR dual illumination except that it washed out on a bright backgrounds. This RM06 addresses that problem nicely, making the sight near perfect for my purposes. While I don't prefer relying on batteries, based upon friends experiences, I don't anticipate that to be a problem. I really do think it should come standard with the sealing plate, however, as moisture and electronics do not get along well. Do your homework if you have Astigmatism
A quality product made in the USA. Very disappointed that due to my Astigmatism I see a "comma" instead of a dot. Corrective glasses makes the dot look closer to round and there's plenty of tips to using red dots w/ Astigmatism. You get what you pay for.
I was very apprehensive about spending this kind of money on a red dot for my Glock 19 MOS, but decided that I only wanted to buy a red dot once. I am very happy my decision to pay the extra.
