    Best war series. Period.

    I have always loved this series since I first laid my eyes on it. I have wanted to re-watch it for so long. Years. I finally decided to look it up on eBay and boom. I received it extremely fast and even introduced my fiancé to it. She cried (like I knew she would) and laughed. This has to be the most amazing, breath taking, gut wrenching, and soul crushing war miniseries. The fact that some of the members of the actual Band of Brothers were in it gave it so much more reality to it. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Thank you to any and all veterans who have served and are serving. You are all important no matter how small your role. Thank you again and keep marching on! Bless you all!

    Great representation of both theaters of World War II.

    Had Band of Brothers and loved it. Loaned it out to Grandsons and never got back, claim they gave back, probably lost, oh well. kids. Will watch it again. Really wanted The Pacific and it's great, very accurate. Shows what these young men went through. My father fought in the Pacific theater during World War II, he was drafted at 32 years of age in 1942 and 33 years old when he shipped over. Most soldiers were in their late teens and early 20's, but as the war went on they needed everyone they could get. The Pacific is a great representation of the Pacific theater. Both of these are great and I highly recommend both or either.

    Tough love

    Band of Brothers tells the story of WW2 through the eyes and experiences of Easy Company, an airborne company of the U.S. army. The beginning of each chapter/episode (10 in all) features interviews with some of the survivors whose characters are depicted in the series. Produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, Band of Brothers is an HBO miniseries of tough love, in that it gives us an up-close look at the heroics and brutalities of war. The acting and production values are superb.
