Great Handgun Safe
I dod a lot of research prior to purchasing this specific safe; The safe is rugged, and heavy-duty. Was actually surprised at the weight of this thing. It was very easy to program the biometric feature, and I just flat out love this thing. We have a little one in the house, and I now have peace-of-mind knowing there is no way he can gain access to my firearm. Surely nothing is 100% guaranteed, but I sure feel a whole better with my firearm locked up inside this safe. I also like how quickly I can gain access to the firearm, if I ever need to. Sentry gun safe
I have two small children and needed to protect them but also keep them safe from getting near my firearm. I bought the biometric gun safe from sentry because it gives you safe from children but quick access in an emergency with one of three ways to open. I highly recommend to prevent your curious boys or girls from getting to your hand gun but giving the adult quick access. Heavy construction. Designed to make prying open the door more difficult. Not a total security vault with more locking features but definitely child-proof. Convenient
With a swipe of the finger I open at night before going to bed. When I get up in the morning I close it and the handguns are not protected from thieves, but I don't worry about youthful intruders accessing the firearms and hurting themselves or others. If somebody wants in there badly enough to rip it off it's mounting screws and pry the lid, it's not going to be easy or fast. As advertised!
It’s not very difficult to set up, just follow the instructions exactly. I have no problems with the biometric as long as I go a little slow, it pops open every time. I haven’t had it open by mistake using a wrong print either. The only downside is it only allows two prints and it’s either/or to use the code or a print-can’t set up both. I knew that when I purchased it. Overall it’s secure & it can be bolted down, I feel fine leaving my clips full next to my gun in the safe. Nice safe for quick access
This is a nice safe for the house where you can bolt it down. It is not good for the automobile, it is a little on the large size and has no way to lock it with a cable. I added a tie down and a bicycle cable lock to secure it to the car seat frame. Good safe, limited features.
Build is very solid, no issues there. I didn’t realize before purchase it is Fingerprint or Pin/Pattern. Not both! It also doesn’t have a slot for a security cable like other safes. Wish it had that.
