    Get the Stryker, you won’t regret it.

    The 955 is an amazing radio. If you can score a version 1 they are even better. I have a few of each and they are great. Super stable, loud on AM. And the V1s take well to HiFi upgrades and audio compression modifications. Caveat here, use the best tech you can find. There’s a few that specialize in the Strykers. If you want to spend the cash monies, can’t go wrong with a 955. Or even a v1 655 for that matter.

    Great radio.... Modulation monster on AM and SSB

    This is a great radio! The conversion is marked on the board with an arrow. 1 resistor removal is all it takes (very small). Look to AM ANL VR for modulation. Love this radio, spot on frequency. I have had many positive remarks by the locals. This is a great seller. Brand new radio.

    Great radio and loud audio.

    This radio is the best of both worlds. Once converted (surface mount resistor on board in front of radio with and arrow pointing to it) is removed, it’s open to 24 MHz all the way up to 30MHz. Turn up the AM modulation and leave the SSB adjustments alone. This radio is loud and has some hellacious audio behind it. Also preforms well on 10 meter SSB. Would recommend that you set the clarifier as unlocked on both RX and TX. All in all it’s a great radio and would highly recommend this radio to anyone who’s looking for both AM and SSB performance.

    this radio is becoming my fav to run. i have 7 others too and some 4 times more the money

    i was hesitant,worried the best price around would be a bad radio. boy was i wrong. this 955hpc is getting quality reports from 50 to 2500 miles away. people saying its up there with my kenwood 430s. i love it. on freq on ssb and am,,spot on.

    Best investment ever!

    Love this ham radio conversation into a cb! I can pick up people from everywhere it seems like and hear them crystal clear! Love the range of talking it has on it too definitely not a bad buy.. I’d say it’s the best cb I’ve ever owned.
