Since it came without directions, I thought it might not fit my mower, but after a few minutes staring at it I understood how it was meant to work. This unit bolts between the seat bottom and the seat adjustment rails. The distance between the bolts that fit the adjuster onto the seat bottom is shorter than the rest of the bolts. You'll figure it out. The ride is definitely less rigid, more comfortable.
